Seeking Experienced PR Account Coordinator

LGA is seeking an experienced PR account coordinator for our growing PR practice.

Retail, fashion, corporate, restaurant and consumer account experience desired.

Healthcare, financial services, automotive, and franchise experience a plus.


Ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism, enthusiasm, resourcefulness, creativity and integrity, and have:

  • 1 – 2 years agency experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven success building media lists, writing and distributing news releases, pitching media, assisting with event management, implementing social media strategies, conducting online research, monitoring media, and preparing media status reports and clipbooks
  • Experience with online tools such as Cision, ProfNet, PR Newswire and others.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, business or related discipline required.

Jennifer Jones Talks Super Bowl Commercials on WCNC

LGA Group Creative Director Jennifer (“J.J.”) Jones appeared on WCNC’s Charlotte Today to give her thoughts on this year’s best, worst and most talked about Super Bowl commercials. Little did we know that Honda aired the full two and a half minute commercial featuring Ferris Bueller on YouTube because it would have cost $17.5 million to air live during the Super Bowl. LGA Mentioned Twice in Forbes During November

Stories in Forbes.com mentioned LGA’s work with clients twice in November. On Nov. 14, a story headlined “How North Carolina Showed Hurricane Irene Who Was Boss” reported how LGA and Development Counsellors International teamed with N.C. Tourism officials to ensure both visitors and residents knew how the storm was impacting the coast – and when the state’s many attractions would be open for business. On Nov. 30, a Forbes.com story headlined “Ad, PR agencies grow despite slowing U.S. ad spending growth” noted how LGA CEO Steve Luquire is bullish on opportunities to help both existing and new clients. LGA has benefited as clients increasingly look for more niche-type agencies, Steve said. “It’s easier for them to see the talent, and they know they’re going to be dealing at an executive level.”
